24 weeks

well what a busy couple of weeks we have had! Sherene decided to move back and we went to a lovely wedding and had new windows fitted, and have ordered new furniture for our bedroom.

My back is still playing up and having seen the physio its defiantely pelvic girdle pain ( used to be called SPD) I have my 2nd session of physio this afternoon, when they are going to measure me for a support belt i believe.

the bump is growing rapidly and is forcing me to buy new clothes again lol

i am in pain. Midwife says its either sciatica or pelvic girlde pain due o theligaments stretching oo much too early.

Its like a dull ache in my lower back which shoots into my hips when im walking!its not nice

anyway on a nicer note am off for some retail therapy 2morro so that will be nice.

no other news, craving friut and ice at the moment, same as i did with eleanor.

well what gorgeous weather :)

its been beautifully sunny for a couple of days now and im attempting to spend as much time outside as possible. but its not really happeneing lol.

Im getting kicked to pieces as well usually in the mid morning then again early evening but its a lovely feeling,

None of my normal clothes fir now so im in maternity skirts as the trousers are still too big! I dont remember how far i was last time b4 they fitted properly! I might have to have a look for a new pair of trousers. (any excuse huh lol)

Actually i have to find an outfit for a wedding I havent a clue what 2 get but have seen a few nice dresses on line but they are all about £150 which is rather out of budget! also need my hair cut so gonna book an appointment for after pay day.

anyway thats all thats happeneing here at the moment

after the scan

well The scan went well, Baby wasnt behaving tho and seemed to enjoy standing on his/her head for most of the scan! All the checks were fine tho and even tho i decided i wanted to know the sex the sonographer couldnt see as baby wasnt being nice. so i still dont know.

ah well never mind. After the scan i went to pick up 1 of the freebie packs fromthe town centre and am gointo have a look through tthere later, its probably partly useful!

anyone wanna start making guesses as to sex weight and birth date of the baby??? lol.

Im home

Well i had a lovely holiday and now im home i am back to normality! Am off for my 20 week scan later today so will pos more after that and if we decide to find out the sex i'll say (probably)

arent holidays supposed to be relaxing??

well i havent gone yet and im getting more and more wound up by the day! today i have spent nearly all day running around trying to the the car through its MOT and geting to the dentist cos that abscess has flared up again and getting to the post office once the car HAD passes its MOT. its been madness, and i thought i was supposed to take it easy in pregnancy!

Its been manic. I have about 1/2 the packing still to do a bbq to go to 2morro if it ever stops raining and all the washing and housework to do b4 we go as well.

lets just hope that its slightly better weather over there.

i have temporarily solved the clothing problem although it does mean that my jeans are held up by a hair bobble! I bet the rich and famous dont have to do that!

Anyway on a positive side i have felt the baby move a few times in the last week which is reassuring and i have my next scan in 10 days, should i find out the sex or not that's the big question! (answers in the comments section please)

i apologise for all the spelling mistakes in this but I'm rushing it as i have a bath running

none of mine fit me!

Im at thats stage where normal cothes are too small and maternity clothes are too big! tops are fine as i bought loose tops anyway but trousers are a problem lol.

Have been feeling much more normal this week toothache has just about gone and have a dentist appointment on monday

Am off on holiday in 10 days and cant wait, ok so its only a week in france but its a holiday! Just have all the packing to do and another sleeping bag to find! have even bought a maternity swimming cossie as i want to take eleanor swimming as there is 3 different pools there :D

anyway cant think of anything more to write at the moment, madam has a teddy bears picnic 2morro with toddlers and i have a meeting at her nursery to find out about the uniform and term dates.
cant believe she starts in september!

normal

I finally feel normal again :) well as normal as i ever do hehe. We have been looking at names in the last couple of days and have a list of about 10 i like and about 8 of them noel likes as well lol so its a good start. Going to try and go out later today and see if i can get the last few bits that we need for holiday and then its just a case of writting a huge list of what we need and making sure we dont forget anything! passports and money are all together and waiting :)

On an even better note my sister is back off her world trip this weekend and so i get to go see her on saturdy and i havent seen her for nearly 5 months! I am really looking forward to seeing her

illness

Well im suffereng at the moment, My asthma has been playing up for a few days now and now i have an abcsess in / under my tooth which although i have antibiotics i can only take paracetamol for! Im not a happy bunny at the moment

14 weeks 3 days

well my jeans are geting tight! my weight hasnt really changed but i am defianately showing. I went to look yesterday for maternity clothes for a wedding in september that we are going to as there is no way i will fit in to normal clothes by then. . however i have a target, i haveto be back at normal weight etc by june next year as my friend is getting married and i want to look good by then.

Mind you im eating choccie digestives for breakfast at the moment! not really a good idea.

im shattered! woke up at 4.30 and couldnt get back to sleep so got up with madam at 5.45 and now im shattered! house is in serious need of tidying so am going to start that in a min so i wake up a bit! anyway thats all i can think to write at the moment!

I feel old!!!!

Well i feel old today! We are off out 2night after having to choose between 2 different parties, an 18Th or an engagement party.

I agreed a while a go to make Jaz's birthday cake so have done so but then found out it was ellee's engagement party on the same night! I feel so old tho Jaz is 18 and ellee 23 and I'm going on 30 married with 1 child another on the way and a 16 year old step daughter who has almost finished school.

Ah well soon be time to go start the process of making me fit to be seen in public in something other than jeans and t shirt. And its gonna take a while! I have decided to wear my pretty dress as its a size 12 and its going to be a long time b4 i can fit in to it again!

ah well has been a good day so far really, cake has turned out better than i had hoped and even had a very quick sucessful trip 2 buy noel new shoes this morning. just the beautifying to work on now lol

13 weeks + 3 days

we are decorating the front room at the moment and the house looks like a bomb has hit it!

Well i say we are decorating i mean noel is painting and i am pointing out the parts that he has missed. hehe Sherene and her friend Anna have been helping too and they are now painting Eleanors toy box with an underwater scene and its looking fantastic (if i can figure out how i'll post a pic when its finished).

Other than that, things are going well sickness has almost completely eased and im not feeling quite so tired most of the time.am still having weird dreams tho! Am making a birthday cake for a friend this weekend as its her 18th so have to go buy the few bits that i need for that later must try not to eat the sweeties that im going to use to decorate it with. its going to be a good cake.

well anyway back to seeing if i can make the house any tidier at all!

freebies

well i have signed up for as many free clubs/ societies as possible mostly on line things like emmmas diary and bounty as well as the boots parenting club. hopefully i can collect all the free things hehe. I am searcing the net for all the others. for example tescos does 1 as well but am waiting for my clubcard to arrive b4 i join that 1.

Other than that i have decided im going to keep a close eye on my weight as i spent so long loosing weight i dont want to balloon so although im not going to diet i am going to make sure i am eating sensibly and i will do my best to get my 5 a day and not eat too much junk.

well....

Im over the moon now i know things are ok and im passed that magical 12 week mark

We havent told eleanor yet tho as im not really sure what 2 say to her, another 6 months is a long time to wait for a 3 year old., Oh her eye appointment yesteday was a nightmare she refused point blank to do anything!!! so we are back again in 3 months.

As for the pregnancy the hardest parts so far apart from the sickness have been not eating prawns (i love them) and switching to de caffinated coffee , it doesnt have the same wake up effect as caffinated lol. Since i found out i was pregnant i have been taking a pregnany multi vitamin suppliment called Pro natal and although the pill is huge it has everything baby needs and that i need in it :D.

I need to decide now if we are going to find out the sex or not sherene and noel want to but im not sure, but have another few weeks to decide :)

Im also trying to get hold of my sister in brazil to pass her the news as i dont want her hearing it from anyone else!

well thats all i can think to write at the moment , still no cravings bethan lol

And im scared stupid incase something is wrong! Scan appointment is at 3pm so have all day to wait and am off to take eleanor to the eye unit this morning for a check up, ( theya re watching her for a turn in the eye as there is family history)

Its going to be a long day!

The 1st 11 weks

This pregnancy has been very tense so far, after having a miscarriage at 9 weeks 12 months ago i have been totally on edge about everything!

I found out on the day after i had been on a course all weekend lifting and carrying various people. It had been a tough weekend! I did the test as the smell of food was making me feel sick and there was a very very feint line. I texted a picture of the test to a friend as the line was so feint i wasnt even sure it was there. I sat on the bed for a good hour then thinking "OMG OMG OMG" When noel got home i told him and he was as shocked as i was.

Since then i have been resting as much as possible sleeping as much as possible and making sure i avoid all the foods i am not supposed to eat.

at 6 weeks i was getting cramps and managed to arange an early scan. everything was fine and defiantly only 1 baby there.

I have been suffereing quite badly with nauesa and although i havent been sick i have been struggling to eat and have lost about half a stone.

every niggle is making me worry and i am like a "biatch from hell" most of the time as i am getting really tense and snappy.

I have also been having really odd dreams about the weirdest things possible!

I am now 11 weeks and have my dating scan on thursday of this week i am looking forward to it hugely as i should be able to get a better idea ofwhen im due.

By my dates its the 28th Dec and by the scan i had at 6 weeks its 31st dec, either way its going to be a busy xmas, and an amusing 1 according to a good friend :) (Bethan)

My name is Sian and i am currently 28 married and living in south wales with a young daughter.



My friend has encouraged me to se this up as i am almost 12 weeks pregnant and she has said she wants to know everything about my pregnancy. so this is where i am going to record it all.
